When we were asked to do a pseudo video for Jorge Marazu, a Spanish singer and composer, we were hesitant about how much time and effort should be involved, but couldn’t resist getting lost in this subtle love story as long and old as the geoglyphs in the Nazca Desert.
___ client: Universal Music Spain is a music company that offers music publishing services, operating as a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. ___ project: We created all the illustrations from scratch, inspired by the Nazca lines aesthetic. Then we animated them following the beat of the music, using generative techniques to create a fantastic world made entirely of lines and earthy colours. We used different characters, as well as abstract and dynamic elements, in order to keep the viewer’s interest for five minutes while transmitting the atmosphere of the song.
